Juveniles have the right to have their records sealed so they cannot be viewed by members of the public.
There are rules and guidelines around this opportunity. Keep in mind that the records are always available for law enforcement agencies, like the police and FBI.
Juveniles must submit an application to the Juvenile Court to have your record destroyed. When a juvenile may apply to have their record destroyed depends on the adjudicated charge. If it is a 13-501 charge, the juvenile must wait until he/she is 25 otherwise a juvenile may apply at 18. Please contact the Maricopa Superior Court for an Application for Destruction of Records, Setting Aside Adjudications, and/or Restoration of Civil Rights.
