Fridays Fitness Hike – Lousley Hill- McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week's hike is Lousley Hill. Meet at the Lousley Hill Hiking Kiosk.

Healthy Hiking at Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
June 1 Friday 7:00 am Healthy Hiking (moderate) Join us for a 2.5 mile / 1.5 hour aerobic walk through a portion of the Conservation Area. Participants need not be tri-athletes, just ordinary folks who would like to begin or add diversity to their existing walking program.

Wildlife Safari - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
We all love to see wild animals, but where are they hiding this time of year? Join us on this exciting 1.5-mile wildlife safari as we sneak to the secret places where the park’s wildlife is often seen. Feel free to bring your camera and binoculars. Please bring water, hats, and closed-toe shoes. Location: Trail Staging Area.

Snake Feeding at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
You can learn about the habits of some of the creatures of the desert by coming into the Visitor’s Center during feeding time. (Caution – creatures are fed live animals so this could be upsetting to some people). VENOMOUS

Family Moonlight Hike at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Walking into Waterfall Canyon in the moonlight will give you a different perspective on the beauty of the Uplands Desert. We will discuss the unique changes in the desert after the sun sets. Meet at Area 6. Bring a flashlight, scorpion lights and bug repellent. No dogs please. – FAMILY EVENT – General Interp.

June Full Moon Hike - McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
There is no better way to experience the desert than on a night hike. Join Ranger Amy to experience the desert come alive by the light of the moon at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Hiking time is 2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. Moonlit hike programs are free with $6/vehicle entry to the Park.

Moonlight Hike to the Clay Mine - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Join us on an amazing and mysterious adventure as we enter our Clay Mine at night! This will be an easy 1 mile hike as we have the moon light the way to the mine. Once inside, candles will bring us through the history of this mine and will learn how its contents were used to cure all your ailments. Bring water and a flashlight in case you need it. We will supply the helmets to enter the mine as long as you wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Meet at the Group Campground. NOTE: This program is part of the “County Parks are getting Wet ‘n’ Wild this summer” series and we will be raffling off a family-four pack at the end of the program.

Dive ‘n’ Movies - Every Friday Night
Adobe Dam Regional Park
Every Friday night from June 1 to August 10, catch a great movie while floating under the stars at Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix’s wave pool - Monsoon Bay or simply lounge around on a deck chair. Dive 'n' Movies begin at sundown and are FREE with Park admission. The majority of the Park's slides and attractions continue to operate during Dive 'n' Movies.
