Beat the Heat Fitness Hike - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Get your morning started right with a hike through the upper Sonoran desert. We will enjoy the amazing views of Cave Creek Regional Park while we keep our legs moving and hearts pumping on this 3.5 mile hike. Along the way, you’ll also receive some great tips on general fitness, hiking gear and discuss strategies for hiking during the warmer months. Remember, always bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes or boots. Meet at the Nature Center.

Thursdsay Agua Fria Paddle Tour - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Come join the Ranger for a fun Thursday paddle tour of the Agua Fria Arm of Lake Pleasant. You must have your own paddle craft and wear a PFD (life vest). Bring water, lunch, extra clothes, and your camera in a dry bag.

8AM Agua Fria Long Paddle Tour - 15 miles, 8 hrs Meets at the four lane boat launch area.

10AM (CANCELLED DUE TO BOAT BREAK DOWN) Shuttle Boat Ride & Short Paddle - 10 or 5 miles, 6 hrs

The Secret Lives of Cacti- North Trail Join Ranger Amy on a search for the blooms and fruit of our desert cacti, from stately saguaros to ‘jumping’ teddy bear cholla. Discover which are edible, and learn about the creatures great and small that depend on them for life here in the desert. Guided walk is approximately 1 mile in length, and 1 ½ hours. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Meet at North Trail.

Adult Moonlight HIke at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
This is a 2.5 miles round trip - Walking along the Waddell Trail to the Mesquite Canyon Wash in the moonlight will give you a different perspective on the beauty of the Uplands Desert. We will discuss the unique changes in the desert after the sun sets. Bring a flashlight. No one under 16 years of age. Meet in Area 7. No dogs please.
