David Funkhouser Appointed to Legislature
(August 20. 2008) The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors appointed Phoenix attorney David E. Funkhouser, 30, to the Arizona House of Representatives today.
Mr. Funkhouser will fill the Legislative District 11 seat left vacant by former Representative Mark DeSimone who resigned in July.
The board was required to pick from three names submitted by the Democratic Precinct Committeemen in District 11: In addition to Funkhouser the committeemen nominated Ann Wallack of Phoenix and Eric Meyer of Paradise Valley.
