Arizona Public Service Company has established “Operation Outreach” as a means of educating and informing residents about nuclear power in general and the Palo Verde plant specifically. They are working closely with the federal, state, county emergency management agencies to provide for your health and safety.
If you live within a 10-mile radius of Palo Verde and have special needs or unique considerations, you are encouraged to fill out our survey. The Maricopa County Department of Emergency Management will use this information in planning for a variety of emergency scenarios around Palo Verde. It is intended to provide valuable information about populations that may require notification in a different format, assistance in evacuating, or other considerations.
The form can be printed and completed, then mailed or faxed to the department (instructions for such are on the form itself.)
