Grand Opening and Moving Sale on Doggies and Kitties

Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) is moving! The over 40-year old West Valley Shelter is being replaced with a new 54,000 square foot facility.

 With a larger, modern clinic, separate housing for cats and dogs, and new “Real Life” rooms for potential owners to interact with the animals, the facility is better able to serve the public and the homeless animals that will come through these doors.

 And to celebrate, MCACC is waiving adoption fees for some of its resident dogs and cats from Thursday, March 13^th – Sunday, March 30^th at the West Valley Shelter.

 Cats six months and older will be available to go to a good home for $20. Dogs over 40 pounds will be available to go to a good home for $36. This price includes their vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, and for dogs, a County dog license.

 This special occurs Thursday, March 13^th – Sunday, March 30^th at our West Shelter only. We will be moving into the new shelter on Saturday March 22^nd and will be closed for business this day. We will reopen at our New Shelter on Sunday March 23^rd!
