In an effort to remind residents that those most vulnerable to the flu are kids and especially those kids with other chronic health conditions such as asthma, Maricopa County Public Health and Phoenix Fire have teamed up to offer flu shots to the students, faculty and family of Bethune Elementary School this Wednesday, December 12.
“Asthma and the flu can be a deadly combination,” said Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox. “That is why we are doing events like this one to remind residents to immunize everyone in the family against the flu.”
