Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox expresses her deep sympathy in the passing of Judge Pamela Gutierrez.
Judge Gutierrez served as Justice of the Peace for the South Mountain Justice Court since 1995. Prior to her service in the South Mountain Justice Court, she was an attorney in Community Legal Services. She also worked in the Judge Advocate General's office in the United States Air Force at Williams Air Force Base, where she received the Air Force Commendation for meritorious service.
"Judge Gutierrez ran the J.P court in a fair and equitable manner, and South Phoenix has lost a respected leader. We keep her family in our prayers,” said Supervisor Wilcox.
