No-Cost Spay and Neuter Vouchers for the Public
(PHOENIX, April 10, 2013) – Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) continues helping pet owners survive in a tough economy. MCACC will be issuing out SNAP Vouchers April 13, 2013, at our Under One Woof Adoption Center, located inside the MetroCenter Mall, located at 9617 North Metro Parkway, Suite 1116, Phoenix, from 10:00am to 3:00pm or while supplies last.
This event was funded solely by a grant given to Friends of Animal Care and Control (FACC) by PetSmart Charities. Since its inception more than six years ago, the SNAP application-based program partners with local veterinarians to offer free spay and neuter surgeries to the pets of Maricopa County residents. "Friends of Animal Care and Control are grateful to have the support of PetSmart Charities which enables us to fund large scale SNAP distribution events such as this. There is no doubt that with their support, we are making a positive impact on the homeless pet population in Maricopa County," said Leanna Taylor, FACC Executive Director.
Due to a limited amount of vouchers, it will be a first-come, first-served basis. Pet owners are encouraged not to bring their pet to receive a voucher.
