Until December 15, businesses that need an air quality permit, but are currently operating without one, may apply for a permit without facing the prospect of a penalty. The three month long permit amnesty, offered by the Maricopa County Air Quality Department provides a unique opportunity for businesses that avoided obtaining a permit for fear they would face large fines should they come forward.
To explain how the permit amnesty program works, Permit Division Manager Doug Erwin and Ombudsman Dennis Dickerson will be the featured speakers at the next Air Quality Brown Bag.
When: Thursday, October 15, at 12 p.m.
