Small Business Owners Feast on Main Course of Estate Planning at Snell & Wilmer L.L.P.
MCbiz partnered with the United Latino Business Coalition (ULBC) and held its quarterly Networking Workshop on 5/14, which was hosted by the law offices of Snell & Wilmer. All networked while feasting on tasty/delicioso treats, but more importantly, the gracious host also provided a main course on estate planning beyond the basics. Snell & Wilmer attorneys, Fidelis Garcia and Matthew Donovan, presented to a room full of diverse business representatives amidst a fantastic view of the cityscape.
Information on basic estate planning documents, probate, taxes, and much more was extremely palatable. The attendees left with a zesty foundation on which to better leverage their future estate planning. Fidelis and Matthew reminded the guests that “there are various estate planning techniques – some expressly approved by the IRS and some that are not (but for which there is supportive legal authority)” – they would be glad to discuss further with interested parties. Fidelis Garcia can be reached via email: fgarcia@swlaw.com or via phone: 602-382-6258.
The ULBC was established in 2001 with the purpose of promoting the growth of Latino-owned businesses as well as other minority/women-owned businesses by fostering development opportunities, providing educational workshops, and formulating effective advocacy programs.
The ULBC is an all-inclusive organization, which embraces diversity in its membership. This membership represents a diverse cross-section of financial, manufacturing, professional, construction, and technical businesses. For more information visit http://unitedlbc.org/index.php.
