Police brutality, racial profiling, racial differences in criminal sentencing and imprisonment, the racialized application of the death penalty, and the disenfranchisement of millions of people of color, have had adverse consequences in our society, and they have been particularly damaging in the lives of people of color and their communities. This forum will explore race and racism in the criminal justice system, and will provide attendees with tools to understand and confront the problems associated with this topic.
The forum is free and open to the public.
