| "Crafty Critters" - Home School Program - Usery Park |
| Usery Mountain Regional Park |
| Calling all animal detectives! Usery Park and the Arizona Science Center are teaming up to provide a hands-on program for all you home schoolers! Why doesn’t a duck eat nuts or a squirrel eat nectar? Join us in exploring how an animal’s unique body structure and characteristics make survival possible. Then go out into the desert to explore and discover the many ways desert critters are suited to their environment! Recommended for ages 6-10 accompanied by an adult. Pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic in the park following the program. NOTE: Pre-registration is required through the Arizona Science Center. To register, please call the Arizona Science Center at (602)716-2000 ext. 2556. AZ Science Center members: $15 for the first parent and child and $5 for each additional child. Non-members of the Science Center: $20 for the first parent and child and $5 for each additional child. Please note that there is also a $6 per vehicle entry fee to enter Usery Park.
