| Got relatives in town? There is no better way to show off all the Sonoran Desert has to offer than by bringing them on a ranger-led crisp December full moon night hike. Pull on a jacket and hat and experience the desert in a new way at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Hiking time is 2 1/2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. Moonlit hike programs are free with $6/vehicle entry to the Park. |
