Guided Ranger Hike along the North Trail – McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
The North Trail is one of McDowell's most popular trails, as it was not burned during the Rio Fire of 1995. This is an easy, level, 3 mile loop, with a great diversity of desert life. Ranger Amy will answer your burning questions about the desert, and point out birds and other wildlife that we might see along this 2 hour walk. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring plenty of water. Meet at the North Trail trailhead.
