Indian Mesa Ranger Guided Hike - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
This park ranger led six mile round trip hike in the Agua Fria Conservation Area of Lake Pleasant Regional Park is very scenic. We will be hiking in rocky terrain with a good hill climb. Indian Mesa was home to ancient Hohokam Indians and we will see evidence of this past culture. Chances of seeing wildlife here is very good. The views are grand on the mesa over looking the backside of Lake Pleasant. Wear good hiking boots, bring water, a lunch in your day pack, and your sence of adventure. You may not want to forget your camera and binoculars! We will meet at the Lake Pleasant Visitor Center and drive 20 miles to the start of the hike. There will be some room in the van for car pooling. Please call Ranger if you have any questions. This is a "not want to miss" type of hike!
