Fire Ban Beginning May 26, 2009! This includes banning the use of all campfires, fire pits, and charcoal grills. It is acceptable to use gas/propane grills in designated areas.
Recreation possibilities are endless with miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Designating these beautiful trails for non-motorized use only allows the public to be safe and enjoy the desert in its primitive state. Interpretive Rangers offer guided hikes, at no additional cost to the “Day Use” entry fee.
Hiking is available at these Maricopa County Parks. Click on the below links for more information on hiking at the park, including trail maps, trail difficulty, and guided hikes.
