Welcome to Buckeye Hills Regional Park.
Consisting of 4,474 acres of natural
desert, the park is located in the southwest Valley. Enjoy the rolling hills of
pristine Sonoran Desert, with beautiful views of the Gila River riparian area.
The park has restrooms but currently there is no running water or electricity
available in the park.
| NOTICE: The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department received written notice from Buckeye Sportsman Club on July 28, 2009, that they desired to withdraw from the negotiation process for a long-term agreement and served notice of ending the existing agreement and vacating the Shooting Complex on August 31, 2009.
Parks met last week with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to see if they had the capability to operate the range or if they had any suggestions. The Arizona Game and Fish Department has offered to facilitate a meeting between the Buckeye Sportsman’s Club and Parks to see if we can develop an agreement that is workable for both parties. The meeting has been scheduled to take place the week of August 17th.
Updates will be posted as they become available. Thank you…
