Reflection Walk at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
Come and join us for a special, silent, no children, no pets, no cell phones or IPODS, short walk in a usually closed section of our park. Take this time for yourself to reconnect with the wonders of nature and the beautiful Sonoran desert. You may want to bring a journal, water and a lunch for after our hike. This experience will probably last approximately one hour. We will be walking on a fairly flat, paved surface then sit in silence and reflection. You are free to go off by yourself and spend as much time as you want or need to continue the experience. After entering the park drive about 2 miles up the road and turn left onto Waterfall Canyon Road. Drive past Waterfall and park by the next bathroom on your right. Leave your cell phones and other electronic devices locked in the trunk of your car. Wait in this area and we will meet you there. "They say the quality of exposure to nature affects our health at an almost cellular level." No children and dogs on this one please.
