| 4:30pm THESE CLOUDS WILL CLEAR SO IT'S ON! This park has some of the best dark sky left in the metropolitan area. We’ll hike out to a dark spot and do some stargazing with Jeff Hopkins and his big telescope. The hike is a rugged but easy 1.2 miles out to the telescope and .8 mi Coldwater access road back. We will see planets, nebula, star clusters. Clouds cancel telescope, rain cancels hike. Call or check website for updated info before hike. |
