| The Monsoon will be in full-swing in July, and that means it's TOAD SEASON! Join Ranger Amy as we search for desert toads by the light of the full moon on Pemberton Pond at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. The weather will be hot, so bring plenty of water. Rain cancels this program-- if the weather calls for rain, call the park or check here--cancellations will be posted.
Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Hiking time is 2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. Moonlit hike programs are free with $6/vehicle entry to the Park. |
