The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has made a strategic decision to build a new Criminal Court Tower in Central Phoenix. The 16-story 32-courtroom facility is expected to be completed in late 2011 and open in early 2012.
It has been designed to care for victims as well as defendants, lawyers and judges.
The new facility will be located on the block bordered by First and Second Avenues, and Jackson and Madison Streets.
Not only will it enhance the ability of the court system to provide justice services, it will be a beautiful addition to the downtown skyline.
