Recent
- Structural steel erection began in September and is now above ground level
- The first crane has been placed at the site and is operating
- Madison Street is now closed from 1st to 3rd Avenues
- 8” gas line relocation at 2nd Avenue is beginning
- The first big pour of the Concrete Mat Foundation of more 5-thousand cub yards of concrete is complete
- S/MBE Workshop for local small businesses was held at the construction sitetrailers, 1 West Jackson Street, on October 1.
- Most of the work in getting the water pipes and other utility conduits under Jackson Street is complete.
- The Board of Supervisors approved expenditures of up to $104-million for the next construction segment.
The project is currently on schedule and within the budget.
