Detailed Topographic Data
Detailed project mapping (2 and 4 foot contour interval data) includes all
elements that appear on project maps as well as FEMA floodplain and base flood
elevation data. Typical features captured are bridges, canals, culverts,
contours and spot elevations, digital terrain model (DTM), lakes, rivers,
railroads, structures, street detail and survey control data. Every mapping
project does not necessarily capture each of these features. The data available
will vary from project to project. Follow these directions for purchasing the data.

Current Floodplain Information
The Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC) is constantly updating
floodplain information for Maricopa County. The current floodplain data is
available to view online through our
floodplain application ** or is available for
purchase. The data provided will be the latest data available at the time of
purchase. This is a one time sale and does not include any future updates. A
purchase will include the following data in these three formats (ESRI e00, ESRI
shape file and CAD DXF): base flood elevations, FIRM panel boundaries, FEMA
approved floodplains, pending floodplains, township-range and section, profile
baselines and cross sections. For pricing, see our products list.

FCDMC DFIRM DVD
The Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC)
participated with FEMA in the creation of the Digital Flood Insurance
Rate Maps
(DFIRM) for Maricopa County, Arizona. This project was completed and
published on September 30, 2005. The DFIRM is thus a snapshot in time showing
the floodplains as of September 30, 2005. New studies have become effective
since September 30, 2005 and consequently the DFIRM information is out of date
and does not represent the current floodplain information. To obtain the
current floodplain data, see above. We are offering the data from this project
as the FCDMC DFIRM DVD. The FCDMC DFIRM DVD contains the following data in
these three formats (ESRI e00, ESRI shape file and MapInfo): aerial tile index,
base flood elevations, FIRM panel boundaries, floodplains, structures (canals,
dams, etc.), NGS survey points, township-range and section, political
boundaries, USGS quadrangle boundaries, profile baselines and cross sections.
The DVD also contains the Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports in PDF format and
each FIRM panel in JPG format. For pricing, see our products list.
