Easter Wildflower Walk - Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
April 8 Sunday 8:00 am Easter Wildflower Walk (moderate) Come and see what’s blooming in Spur Cross on Easter morning. This stroll along the Spur Cross Trail & Tortuga Trail will showcase some of the wildflowers found in the park and explore the beauty of the conservation area.

11th Annual Lake Pleasant Easter Egg Hunt
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Come one, come all to the fun 11th Annual Lake Pleasant Easter Egg Hunt! Free with paid park entry ($6 per vehicle). Don't be late, we start right at 9AM sharp!!!! It takes over two hours to hide over 2000 candy filled eggs, but it takes 300 kids only about 10 minutes to clean them all up! It is a lot of fun for the whole family. There will be some special eggs that can be redeemed for kid's prizes!!! The hunt is open for children 12 years old and under. There will be three seperate areas for Children 5 and under, children ages 6 - 8, and for the 9 - 12 aged kids. Bring a basket or bag for your candy eggs. Look for the "Easter Egg Hunt" signs, that will lead you to the Road Runner Campground play area, once inside the park. You may park on the sides of the road for this event, but please make sure you are not blocking traffic. Plenty of candy and plenty of fun. Bring your easter basket!

Find the Ranger - Wind Cave Trail - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
This open-house style program features our ranger hiking along the Wind Cave Trail and stopping to talk to park visitors. Our ranger will show off his “Backpack of Knowledge” and be available to answer questions about the park, discuss park history, identify desert plants, or even explain which animals call Usery Park "home". Carry ample water.

Children's Desert Story Time - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park

Tails on Trails - Dog Fitness Hike (Experienced Level) - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
Fit dogs are happier, healthier, and display fewer behavioral problems. Tails on Trails will provide the opportunity to meet other dog hikers, learn safe hiking practices and dog trail etiquette. The fun, 3-mile hike along the Blevins Trail is great for experienced hiker dogs. Please bring a short non-extendable leash, a small cleanup bag, and water for you and your dog. One dog per hiker, please. Note: A “Beginners Level” Dog Fitness Hike is also offered this month for those who feel they need the basics before advancing to this level. Location: Trail Staging Area.
