Fitness Focused - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Join us for every Thursday in April as we get out on the trail to get our feet moving and heart pumping. We will bring you throughout a different part of the park each week and total 2.5 to 3.5 miles each week. It is getting warm out there so bring plenty of water to stay hydrated. Meet at the Slate Trailhead.

Brown Bag Historic Pemberton Ranch Hike - McDowell Park
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Brown Bag Historic Pemberton Ranch Hike- Hike begins at the Trailhead Staging area. Join Ranger Amy on an interpretive hike to historic Pemberton Ranch. Children should have some previous hiking experience, as hiking time is 2 hours, and 3 miles. Bring a bag lunch for a picnic out at the ranch site, and of course, plenty of water and sturdy shoes for the hike. No pets please.

Plant Adaptation at White Tank Park
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
This is a short, 1 mile hike on a flat trail that offers the opportunity to view the flora and fauna of the uplands desert. The hike will discuss plant physiology and adaptability and the symbiotic relationships of desert life forms. It is heavy in science and may not hold the attention of younger children. No dogs please. Meet at Area 4 at 9:00 am.

Terrific Tree Blossoms! Walk - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
Discover the beautiful blossoms of our desert trees! Which colors belong to which trees? What are the tree’s pollinators? What fruits do they produce? If you would like to know the answers to these questions, or any questions you may have about desert trees, then this walk is for you! Join Ranger B on this exciting 1-mile stroll along the Merkle Trail to learn amazing facts about our terrific trees. The hard-smooth surface of this trail will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. Please bring water and hats. Location: Area 6.

This all-levels class for both beginners and experienced yogis sets the tone for your day of hiking, riding or…yes, even your workday! Please join Inner Vision Yoga and their certified instructors for inspiring yoga every Monday night at 6pm, Tuesday and Thursday at 9am, and Saturday at 8:30am. White Tank Mountain Regional Park is offering yoga classes in the nature center TUESDAYS AND THURSDAY 9-10AM. Classes start 4/17/12 White Tank Mountain Regional Park 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Road Waddell, AZ 85355 Instructor, Candace Jordan Ph: 425-299-5810 Cost: $10 per class for Maricopa County Parks Annual Pass Holders $15 per class for non pass holders Please bring your annual pass to class for verification.
