| Join us on a beautiful adventure into the Sonoran Desert as the sun sets and the full moon rises. There will be sights to see, smells to take in, dogs to meet, and bushes to mark (it’s okay to bring your owner too). Please make sure to bring a leash and water for your dog. No werewolves allowed. We will be setting out on the Goldmine and Littleleaf trails, approximately 1.3 miles round trip. |

| Mid-winter is owl-breeding season in the Sonoran Desert, and it's a great time to hear their strange and beautiful calls. Join Ranger Amy to experience the desert “come alive” by the light of the full moon at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. Flashlights are not necessary, but permitted. Bring plenty of water and sturdy shoes. Hiking time is 2 hours, and 3 miles. No pets please. Hikes begin at the Trailhead Staging area. |
