Vaccines are an extremely important part of keeping your pet healthy.

All pets adopted at MCACC come with a rabies vaccination and license. If you did not adopt your pet from us you can still bring your pet in for his or her rabies vacciantion. The rabies vaccination is $34.

All dogs over the age of three months are required to be vaccinated for rabies. The first rabies vaccine is good for one year. Please see a veterinarian for more information about vaccines and your pets health.

Cats also need vaccines to keep them healthy. Beginning at eight to nine weeks of age, kittens should be given a vaccine that protects against feline distemper and other diseases. MCACC also recommends that you have your cat tested and vaccinated for Feline Leukemia (FELV).

Want to get you pet's rabies vaccination cheaper than $34? Well, MCACC has "Rabies Clinic Specials". At certain times during the week we are offering rabies vaccinations for only $20.

You can get this special price at both the West (2500 S. 27th Avenue) and East Valley (2630 W. 8th Street) Animal Care Centers at the following times:

• Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00
