Community Outreach / Programs
MCACC is committed to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of people and pets in Maricopa County. We sponsor several programs to help achieve this goal. MCACC recognizes the important roles that animals play in the family and works hard to support the family unit. We offer many options for families that are in crisis such as low income spay/neuter and/or rabies vaccination services. We also offer valuable information on how to keep your pets safe during disasters and bite prevention classes.

Neuter Scooter
MCACC offers low-cost, mobile spay/neuter surgeries. The Neuter Scooter is a self-contained surgical unit that is able to go to different locations throughout the community. The Neuter Scooter also provides rabies vaccinations and dog licenses. For more information, see our Neuter Scooter page.
Subsidized Voucher Program
MCACC offers a subsidized voucher program, designed to serve families on public assistance, demonstrating low income or in a verifiable crisis. The program provides free spay/neuter surgeries at participating veterinarians throughout Maricopa County. The cost ranges from $0 - $26 depending on whether you want to purchase a rabies vaccination and dog license. Please see our Voucher Program page for more information.
