Community Outreach / Programs

MCACC is committed to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of people and pets in Maricopa County. Animals play an important roles in the family and we want to help support the family unit. We sponsor several programs to help achieve this goal, such as low income spay/neuter and no-cost rabies vaccination services.

Neuter Scooter

MCACC offers low-cost, mobile spay/neuter surgeries. The Neuter Scooter is a self-contained surgical unit that is able to go to different locations throughout the community. The Neuter Scooter also provides rabies vaccinations and dog licenses. For more information, see our Neuter Scooter page.

Spay Neuter Assistance Program 

MCACC offers a subsidized voucher program, designed to serve families on public assistance, demonstrating low income or in a verifiable crisis. The program provides free spay/neuter surgeries at participating veterinarians throughout Maricopa County. Please see our Voucher Program page for more information.
