Maricopa County Animal Care and Controls (MCACC) new approach to delivering animal care and control services reflects the delicate balance that exists between animal welfare and animal control. We strive to be proactive and offer programs to prevent problems before they occur.

It is our vision to reduce the dangers and nuisances caused by irresponsible pet ownership and to protect pets from abuse, neglect and homelessness. We accomplish this through transparency, accountability, professionalism, clarity, safety and by acting with a humane attitude.
